The 4-star Hotel Apoksiomen is located directly on the harbour promenade of Mali Lošinj, a picturesque town on the island of Lošinj in the Kvarner Gulf. The special island climate is conducive to health, which makes the region an inviting place for rest and relaxation and has contributed to the popularity of Mali Lošinj.
This boutique hotel was renovated in 2004 and has a beautifully designed interior which radiates comfort and warmth. The hotel’s central location in Mali Lošinj, a small yet vibrant town which is rich in cultural events during the summer, makes it the perfect choice for those looking for holiday fun or a cultural experience.
The name Apoksiomen is derived from Apoxyomenos, the name of one of the conventional subjects of Greek sculpture, depicting a young athlete. A well-preserved Apoxyomenos bronze statue was found in the sea near Lošinj in 1999. After it was renovated, the Apoxyomenos statue was returned to Mali Lošinj, where it was put on display for the public.

In 2005, the Hotel Apoksiomen was listed among the top ten boutique hotels in Europe in the travel and tourism supplement of the Sunday Mirror.
